Which AMD CPU is right for me?
If you work primarily with Office documents or other light-tasks, purchasing entry-level AMD A-series Accelerated Processing Unit (APU) is an excellent choice. You can purchase A-Series APUs in the quad and dual-core variants. All A-Series APUs have integrated Radeon graphics. However, opt for the quad-core variants and will have a much better Radeon R7 GPU, making your system more capable of handling light gaming.
For more demanding tasks, AMD’s Ryzen CPU is a great choice. You can choose between Ryzen 3, 5, 7 and 9 for optimum gaming and multitasking performance. However, Ryzen 5, Ryzen 7 and Ryzen 9 are better selections for rendering. Ryzen CPUs without the 'G' ends do not have integrated graphics. We recommend choosing such CPUs when you wish to purchase a dedicated GPU alongside.
